life update
So, I was in the mood to update this in case anyone might read it who isn't up to date with what's going on in my life. Nothing amazing, just a summary of what's going on with me lately. Won't be too long because I want to go to bed.

Finished undergrad, got into graduate school in Aero Eng with NC State University
Got a position as a research assistant working in VA near NASA LaRC
Now over halfway through 2 year program to get Master's and hoping I will survive that long
Classes and research have been far more difficult than I ever imagined
Stress levels over the past year and change have been higher and longer than any time in my life
High stress led me to look for outlets, tried exercise, drinking, etc, eventually started cutting myself
Eventually landed in the hospital for stitches after a bad cut
Told parents about cutting habits and stopped doing it so far
Suffering from chronic fatigue and migraines that come around every 4-8 weeks
Hate my job and where my life is right now
Really regret the decision to go to graduate school, one of the worst of my life
Feel stressed and uncertain about what I want to do with my life, if anything

So, over a year's worth of happenings in a short list. Scintillating. Now I'm going to bed because I've had a migraine coming on for some time and sleep is the only thing that ever helps. Bye.

i'm sorry graduate school isn't treating you so well. is it a bad program? or just not what you ended up wanting it to be? i'm glad you ended up going to the hospital and also telling your parents what was going on. i'm sorry it got that bad, stress-wise. i'm pretty much still on IM all the time if you need to talk!

:(

We never talk or anything, but I have always respected you.

Maybe you need to adjust your engineering skills outlet? I'm really into the whole 'maker' thing, were people are thinking of stuff and building it themselves... alternatively you could look into changing where and with whom you do your graduate stuff. Can you transfer your current credits?

'Anything is possible' probably sounds like bullshit, but things are more possible than you imagine.

You forgot the part where you drove up to Baltimore and rocked it with an awesome group of friends. :)
